Adam is an experienced musician who began playing saxophone at age 8, and has been taught by Mr Phil Shotton and Professor Peter Westbrook. Adam has taught Advanced music theory, jazz harmony and saxophone for 4 years, and has been gigging around Liverpool for 10 years, playing in various pop, jazz and big bands, and has recorded in Liverpool, Amsterdam and Chelsea. Adam’s main areas of expertise in performance are in cool jazz, blues and indie music.

Adam’s current band, The Sweet Beans, are a jazz and funk collective who perform original jazz, funk, blues and reggae tunes, with some covers of standards and pop tunes, arranged for a jazz ensemble. The Sweet Beans are a Liverpool-based band, but will travel to perform anywhere if given enough notice.
